Perfect Fitment
Designed to fit BMW 6 Series (640i, 650i, 640d, 650i M6 F06/F12/F13), these taillights come with a one-year factory warranty and feature a sequential turn signal. They also carry the "E" Mark certification for European clients, effective 5/15/24.
Easy Installation
These taillights are direct plug-and-play in 99% of cars. However, some vehicles with sensitive onboard computers may require minor coding to remove bulb checks and disable monitoring for turn signals or reverse lights. This can be done easily in 5 minutes with local coding services or with tools like Carly or Bimmercode. Remote coding services are also available.
Important Installation Notes
- If your car has had previous coding (e.g., Brake Force Display), revert it to stock settings, as these taillights are designed to work with a stock vehicle.
- Ensure all connections are firm and fully connected to avoid errors.
- US vehicles have turn signals coded to activate with the brakes. To change this, use Bimmercode or ProTools, or visit this guide.
Wiring Instructions
The taillights connect directly to the factory loom for all four pieces. Two long connector cables are included:
- Connect the driver-side outer taillight to the driver trunk taillight using the supplied cable.
- Connect the passenger-side outer taillight to the passenger trunk taillight using the supplied cable.
Make sure the cables are fully inserted to avoid malfunctions.

Troubleshooting Tips
- Remove “Brake Force Display” coding if enabled.
- Ensure brakes, reverse lights, and all applicable modules are set to “LED.”
- Remove all Hot/Cold bulb checks.
- Check connector cabling for secure connections and undamaged prongs if inner taillights malfunction.
- Tighten bolts on the taillights to prevent condensation, ensuring the rubber grommet is flush with the body.
Note for European Clients
For certain European countries (e.g., UK), DRL/parking lights must be activated/coded on for the taillights to function properly.
